Working with clients that want specialized and distinctive building materials is our area of expertise. If we don't have the dimensional lumber, siding, shingles, shakes, or paneling you're searching for in store, there's a good chance we can locate a mill to create it for you, from specialty-cut timbers, shakes, and shingles, to re-sawing and resurfacing, to bespoke siding designs.
We can also make arrangements to have your items stained, primed, or painted beforehand to help you save time on the construction site. With almost any color possible, from solid color coatings, including oil-based primers, to semi-transparent stains that provide a delicate color while letting the original qualities and hues of the wood come through.

Please be careful to provide us the size, grade, species, quantity (linear footage or square footage) and destination of the construction materials you wish to get a quote on in order to give you the greatest match of materials for your project at the best price. For a nominal price, we provide delivery services across Western Washington. Shipments are transported by common carrier outside of our delivery region.
All quoted materials, including required lengths, are based on past sale and availability. Pricing and availability are not guaranteed and are subject to change at any moment due to the current market demand, limited supply, and fluctuating pricing.

Special Orders
Due to product availability, mill schedules, and volume, it may take up to six weeks or longer for a product to be ready for shipment on special orders of construction materials. Minimum purchase restrictions do apply. All special orders must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering. A custom order cannot be changed after it has been placed, and full payment is required when it is finished.
We apologize, but we are unable to accept refunds on custom-ordered building supplies. Special orders that are not picked up or permitted to ship or deliver after 90 days will be regarded as abandoned, unless other arrangements have been established.
Delivery Options
Within the counties of Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish, San Juan Island, and neighboring areas, local delivery is offered for a nominal price.
Small items are often transported through UPS or FedEx to locations outside the Northern Puget Sound region, while bigger shipments are typically sent via common carrier, most frequently on a tarped flatbed truck. When placing an order, a 50% deposit is needed, and the entire amount must be paid before the product is shipped.
All shipping charges and the cost of unloading the product at delivery are the customer's responsibility. The packaging of large building material units typically necessitates the employment of a forklift or crane for off-loading. The client may be charged extra handling costs by the carrier if manual unloading is required or if there is no equipment available to help with unloading.
If you suspect any damage to your western red cedar or other building materials during shipping or unloading, make sure to notify it and note it on the delivery papers before the driver departs. Pictures may be quite beneficial. All original packaging must be kept, and any broken objects or fragments must be undamaged and intact in order for a claim to be processed.
Credits/Returns
Within 15 days of the purchase, returns are permitted with the original packaging and in perfect condition for resale. This covers any packing, including boxes, and bundling. Please get authorization before returning any items by calling. Only whole units are acceptable if the product is offered for sale in bundles or boxes. There may be restocking, credit card processing, shipping, and pick-up charges.
We apologize, but customized orders, custom-milled, pre-primed, or pre-stained goods cannot be returned. Ask your salesman if your things are "special order" before ordering if you're unsure. Before any of the material is installed, or within 15 days of any claim for damages, shortages, inadequate quality, etc., whichever occurs first.
Any items that have been changed in any manner, such as primed, painted, or cut, are not eligible for returns, refunds, or replacements. The completion of the order is accepted when the product is installed.
